Our laboratories have achieved an extraordinary result. Now it’s official: over 90% of degradability in 174 days!
Few months ago we subjected the latest version of our Go!Zero degradable compound to an “evaluation of the ultimate aerobic biodegradability of plastic materials under controlled composting conditions”.
In practice, the tests, conducted by Lab-Control of Rovigo, measured the degradation of the sole over time, after placing it in a “stable mature” compost and they compared it with pulverized cellulose, (practically pulverized paper).
Already after only 45 days the degradation was over 70%!
The results certify the extraordinary characteristics of this special material, the result of the continuous work of our researchers. The sole used as a test sample, before required 180 days, showed a percentage of degradation equal to Dt = 92.7%, well exceeding the biodegradability threshold!
